DAY BY DAY
Day 1 – Departing early today you will travel south arriving in the Richmond, Virginia area in the late afternoon. Overnight accommodations will be in Ashland, just north of Richmond. Dinner this evening is "on your own" at one of the restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
Day 2 – Following breakfast you will continue south en route to Savannah, Georgia. Accommodations for the next two nights will be at the Hampton Inn located directly across from the riverfront. Dinner tonight will be at the River House Seafood Restaurant in the heart of the river walk activity. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 3 – Following breakfast you will board an Old Town Trolley and depart for an entertaining and educational 90 minute tour of the city of "squares". Upon completion of the tour your ticket will allow you "on and off" privileges at 17 historic attractions. This evening dinner will be aboard the Savannah Riverboat. (Breakfast & Dinner Cruise)
Day 4 – After breakfast you will depart Savannah en route to Charleston, South Carolina. Before arriving in Charleston you will tour the unique Charleston Tea Plantation and learn the history and operation of this farm. Your home for the next two nights will be the The Hampton Inn hotel is located in the historic district. Dinner tonight will be at the popular Noisy Oyster Restaurant. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 5 – Today begins with a guided tour of Charleston's historic district and Saint Michael's Episcopal Church, the oldest surviving church building in the city. There will be time to explore the famous market where you will see ladies making sweetgrass baskets, an African craft practiced in the Low Country since the 18th century. Dinner tonight will be at the Charleston Crab House on James Island. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 6 – After breakfast you will depart Charleston and travel to Beckley, West Virginia for the night. A special "Farewell Dinner" is planned for this evening. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 7 – Following breakfast and hotel check-out you will begin the final leg of your journey. A stop at the Country Cupboard complex in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania is a great way to end your Southern Hospitality holiday. (Breakfast)

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT - A $200.00 per person deposit must accompany your reservation request. This includes a $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee in the event of your cancellation. FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE BY WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22, 2017.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - A full refund will be given (less the $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee) for cancellations received prior to the final payment date. Cancellations received after the final payment date are subject to the following penalties:
· Up to 45 days prior to departure.................................Full refund
Minus the processing fee
· 44 - 30 days prior to departure.....................25% of the trip total
· 29 - 15 days prior to departure.....................50% of the trip total
· 14 - 7 days prior to departure.......................75% of the trip total
· 6 days - day of departure..............................................No refund
INSURANCE - Purchase of trip cancellation/interruption insurance coverage is not included but is highly recommended to protect your travel investment, and is available at an additional cost. To obtain an insurance application form, please contact the DayTours office.
