Day 1 – Departing early from Rochester, New York you will travel to Dearborn, Michigan via the province of Ontario, Canada. Proof of citizenship will be required at border crossings at Lewiston/Queenston and Windsor/Detroit. Accommodations for the next two nights will be at the Best Western Greenfield Inn in Allen Park. (Dinner)

Day 2 – Following breakfast meet your local guide and depart for a Detroit City tour. The tour includes Detroit's exciting waterfront, beautiful Belle Isle, a park within the city, learn about Detroit's revitalization, the restored theatre district and the Detroit People Mover. Hear the story of Barry Gordy as you drive by Hitsville USA: the Motown Historical Museum. Following the tour go to the Henry Ford Museum. View the museum's vast array of famous and rare exhibits including Thomas Edison's laboratory, Lincoln's chair from the Ford Theatre and many automobiles, locomotives and aircraft. Dinner is included tonight. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 3 – After breakfast and hotel check-out you will travel to nearby Dearborn to The Henry Ford complex. A tour of the Ford Rouge Factory celebrates the innovation of manufacturing in America – where history and technology merge. This is a go behind the scenes tour that will allow you to experience automobile production. This afternoon you will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan's second largest city, by-passing Lansing, Michigan's capital city. A visit to the Frederic Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park is planned before check-in at the Hilton Garden Inn East Dinner is "on your own". (Breakfast)

Day 4 – A buffet breakfast will be served at the hotel followed by hotel check-out. This morning you will visit the Gerald R. Ford Museum and Library that traces the life and career of the former president and features a model of the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room during his term. Departing Grand Rapids you will travel north stopping in Cadillac for lunch "on your own". Enjoy the rolling terrain of the Huron-Manistee National Forests as you make your way to the resort town of Petoskey. Tonight's accommodation will be at the Stafford Perry Hotel in Petoskey, a historic property overlooking the waters of Little Traverse Bay. There will be time to browse and shop in the downtown Gaslight District before dinner tonight at the hotel. (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 5 – Following breakfast and hotel check-out there will be a guided tour of Petoskey and the Bay Harbor area including the Bay View Community. Bay View is designated a National Historic Landmark and has been named one of the "Prettiest Painted Places in America". Departing Petoskey you will travel to Charlevoix and Traverse City. In Charlevoix you will see the famous Mushroom Houses, the creations of Earl Young. A light lunch today will be at Castle Farms followed by a tour of the gardens, Museum Collections and the magnificent French Chateau style buildings. Time for a "mystery stop" before arriving at the Country Inn and Suites in Traverse City, your home for the next two nights. Dinner tonight will be at the waterfront Boathouse Restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 6 – After breakfast meet a local guide and depart for the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Sleeping Bear won the title of "Good Morning America's Most Beautiful Place in America. Enjoy the dunes, woods and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan on the 7 mile Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive! You may want to try climbing one of the dunes!!! You will visit Cherry Republic the largest cherry store in the world, and visit the picturesque village of Leland located on the pristine and beautiful Leelanau Peninsula. In Northport you may wish to climb to the top of Grand Traverse Lighthouse that has been guiding ships and sailors since it was built in 1858. Dinner tonight will be at the Mission Tavern on Mission Point Peninsula. (Continental Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 7- Following breakfast and hotel check-out you will visit and tour the Music House Museum. Featuring a collection of rare and fine antiques, automated musical instruments and a magnificent 97-key Mortier dance organ built in Antwerp in 1922. There will be free time in Traverse City for shopping and lunch "on your own" before departing the busy resort town. This afternoon a stop at the animal clinic of Dr. Jan Pol the popular veterinarian featured on the television series "The Incredible Dr. Pol" is scheduled. Tonight accommodations will be in Bay City at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel and dinner tonight will be at the hotel. (Continental Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 8 – Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel before check-out. Meet a local guide for a driving tour of the busy port city of Bay City and the historic district featuring mansions built by the wealthy lumber barons of the late 1800's. Departing Bay City travel to the Bavarian community of Frankenmuth for free time and lunch. This afternoon you will return to Rochester, New York traveling through Canada, crossing customs at Port Huron/Sarnia and returning to Rochester approximately at 9:00 pm. (Breakfast)

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT - A $200.00 per person deposit must accompany your reservation. This includes a $25.00 per person non-refundable processing fee in the event of your cancellation at any time.

PAY EARLY AND SAVE!! Pay in full by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2018 AND SAVE $50.00 per person.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - A full refund will be given (less the non-refundable processing fee) for cancellation received prior to the final payment date. Cancellations received after the final payment date will be subject to the following penalties:

Up to 60 days prior to departure..............................................Processing fee

59 - 50 days prior to departure........................................25% of the trip total
49 - 40 days prior to departure........................................50% of the trip total
39 - 31 days prior to departure.........................................75% if the trip total
30 days - to day of departure........................................................No Refund
